New Job, Career and Culture

Choosing a career can be tough; choosing where to settle down and work can be even tougher. If you fancy something different why not try your hand at working abroad? There are Middle East job vacancies, job vacancies in Australasia and throughout Europe - perfect for those who are keen for a bit of an adventure!

Researching the growth areas for where your skills are most needed is a great place to start, also if you are considering making the move try and get as much first hand advice from anyone you know who has worked or lived overseas. This sort of advice usually comes from family members, or there are specialist recruitment consultants who will recruit for specific areas and can be the most valuable.

It can work out for those who just decide to pick a country or region and just go for it; however, those who do a bit of planning and research do tend to be a little more successful. The more you can find out before you go the better your experience is likely to be.

There are contracts available if you are not sure if it will be right for your long term future. Short contracts can provide the experience of working abroad and give both you and your employer the chance to see if it is right for both parties - definitely the right solution for those who can’t decide or make up their mind.
