Having tired of the slowness and what feels like almost clunking download speed of dial up internet, I’ve decided to go for a broadband internet service. It’s a decision I’ve not made lightly, but having watched those who already have a broadband internet connection, have the ability to download images and music in high speed, just makes me wonder why I took so long to make this decision.
Having an internet connection is probably viewed by quite a few of us as a necessity now. We’re all getting so used to having immediate access to all that we require, we can connect to friends, gather information, and shop online all in an instant. The great thing about a broadband internet connection is that we can access all this information near enough ten times faster than with a dial up connection.
Having considered various factors, mainly that I work off a laptop computer, I’ve decided to make a leap of faith and go for mobile broadband. Most major mobile phone and internet service providers are offering various dongle devices in the form of a mobile data card or USB modem or stick which you simply plug into your laptop and bob’s your uncle you have access to 3g mobile broadband. It’s an ultra convenient way for laptop users to connect to mobile broadband which gives you access to a wireless high-speed internet connection. It’s not difficult, many service provides will actually give you the dongle when you sign up for a mobile broadband deal.
